Aster Volunteers Heart to Heart Cares 2024 commemorates World Heart Day by continuing our legacy of promoting heart
health over the period of a month while aiding underprivileged children across India and GCC.
This year we are set
to return with the initiative launch on the 27th of September 2024 which will culminate with a
closing ceremony on the 3rd of November 2024.
Participants will embark on a journey to complete 10,000 steps, promoting not only their own heart health but also
underprivileged children’s.
Every 10,000 steps you take daily would fund free cardiac surgeries for 50 underprivileged children
and earns you 2 hours of volunteering.
It's an opportunity to make strides towards your own better health while simultaneously extending a helping hand to
those facing life-altering heart ailments. Join us for the event and together, let's walk towards a hearty future.
Participate with your friends and family to heal as many little hearts as you can.
Aster Volunteers is a global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare which has a singular vision to unite people from all walks of life in helping make the world a little better. Our initiatives through medical and non-medical aid, seek to impact the undeserved sections of our society. This short but deeply fulfilling journey of 7 years with our growing registered volunteer force of more than 76,900 people has impacted the lives of 5 million+ people and we are just getting started.
As Cardiovascular Disease is accountable for almost half of all non-communicable diseases on a global level, World Heart Foundation created World Heart Day to fight that by creating awareness and measures about it. Cardiovascular disease (including heart disease and stroke) is the leading cause of death claiming 20.5 million people each year globally. In 2024, it has become particularly important to unite and stand together to understand the causes of CVD and help improve the heart health of individuals, families, and communities from all countries and backgrounds.
Aster Volunteers Heart to Heart Cares 2023, brought together a record breaking community of 16,673 people out of which 11,861 were new participants. It stands as a testimony to our commitment to create a platform where people can extend a helping hand to support the funding of free pediatric cardiac surgeries for 50 underprivileged children. This year you can also join us in this noble initiative and give life to the dreams of these little children.
